Conformation¶
This class describes a structural conformation, i.e. a set of positions of structural particles (smason.Modeling.StructuralModel.Particle
).
You can get a node indexer of structural particles in the conformation:
# get all conformation in the active document
conformationIndexer = SAMSON.getNodes('node.type conformation')
# get the first conformation
conformation = conformationIndexer[0]
# get an indexer of structural particles in the path
structuralParticleIndexer = conformation.getStructuralParticleIndexer()
You can restore a structural conformation:
conformation.restore()
You can add, insert, and remove structural particles from a conformation using samson.Modeling.StructuralModel.Conformation.addStructuralParticle()
, samson.Modeling.StructuralModel.Conformation.insertStructuralParticle()
, and samson.Modeling.StructuralModel.Conformation.removeStructuralParticle()
functions respectively.
You can also get and set position, velocity, and force data for all structural particles in a conformation or for a particular structural particle.
